Meet Diane Hey

Diane Hey, Founder and Chief Executive of Armonia, is a leading figure in the beauty, aesthetics and wellbeing sector. With over 35 years’ experience as a practitioner, salon owner and educator, she has dedicated her career to raising standards, improving access to high-quality training and championing apprenticeships as a pathway to meaningful, sustainable employment.

Diane’s influence extends nationally through voluntary leadership roles, shaping industry standards, government policy and the future of beauty, wellbeing and technical education across the sector.

Diane’s career began in 1987 as a spa therapist, progressing to salon ownership before establishing Armonia Health & Wellbeing and, later, a government-approved training and apprenticeship provider that bridges the gap between industry and education. Her work unites employers, regulators and policy makers to ensure qualifications remain rigorous, relevant and reflective of real industry practice.
